El 1 de Agosto se llevó a cabo nuestro hito “English Day”, cuyo tema este año fue “Music throughout History”. Teniendo como eje central la Música en la historia, cada nivel llevó a cabo una investigación en torno al tema, las que fueron compartidas con la comunidad a través de exposiciones, charlas, presentaciones y afiches, entre otros.
Además, estudiantes de ambos ciclos pudieron mostrar su talento en la primera versión del “The Voice CEB”, donde interpretaron canciones de todos los estilos, por supuesto, en inglés.
Finalmente, cada curso presentó su musical, dependiendo de su músico, banda o estilo designado.
En general, fue un día donde toda la comunidad pudo compartir en torno a este idioma que se ha convertido en una herramienta esencial en un mundo globalizado.
Last August 01st, we enjoyed our “English Day”, which had “Music Throughout History” as a central theme. With this topic as a guideline, each level from PK to IV High School did a research on a specific subtopic, which were shared with the community through speeches, oral presentations, posters and exhibitions, among others. Also, students from both Primary and Secondary school could show their talent in the first version of “The Voice CEB”, where they performed and presented songs of different styles, of course, in English.
Finally, each class presented their musical, according to the musician, band or style that they had been assigned with.
As a whole, it was a day where the entire community could share around this language, which has become a fundamental and essential tool in a globalized world”.
